Marko Todorovic parted ways with UCAM Murcia upon mutual agreement.
The Universitarios announced his departure on Saturday, three days after securing the services of fellow big Kostas Antetokounmpo for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
An international player with Montenegro, starting from the junior level and expanding to the senior national team in 2016, Todorovic signed with Murcia midway through the 2023-24 season. Following spells in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup with FC Barcelona and Khimki Moscow Region, he added the Baloncesto Champions League to his list of European club continental competitions, logging 18 appearances.
In the ongoing edition of the BCL, the 32-year-old forward/center tallied 7.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per contest, helping the team coached by Sito Alonso advance from the Regular Season to the Round of 16 as the top seed of Group H and start the next stage with a 1-1 record in Group L. His contributions to a 9-11 W-L tally in Spain’s Trabazón Endesa Regular Season featured 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per contest over 17 games.
Besides Murcia, earlier ACB experience stretched from DKV / FIATC Mutua / Divina Seguros Joventut and FC Barcelona Regal to Dominion Bilbao and Coosur Verdadero Betis.
Back in 2013, the native of Podgorica was selected with the 45th overall pick of the annual NBA draft. He was then traded from the Portland Trail Blazers to the Houston Rockets and his rights were renounced in 2019.
